Ok, I forget to blog about a lot of things! I am just terrible about making things and either a) leaving them to sit for months on my workspace or b) starting a concept then putting off completion for months! A perfect example are these porcelain loop connectors...made them months ago and although I actually did post the pink one on my
website eventually, never blogged about them! The thing I really like about them is that they're glazed on both sides (and most of the inner surface too) so they can flip over.

I thought
these turned out kind of interesting, kind of a primitive, artifact kind of feeling to me... The dark accent is a slightly metallic bronze and with the textured matte finish of the Spruce glaze it gives an intersting effect. Not sure if the photos really show it off well.

So my goal for the remainder of the week (and weekend) is to get some of my unfinished projects taken care of. I had such good intentions to enter the Art Bead Scene Kandinsky theme this month- Kandinsky is a huge color inspiration for me (I have a giant print of that piece). Although I have some
charms and
pendants that were inspired by him, I had a new (and better) idea... Late for the ABS contest but hopefully people like them!
