All Dressed Up: Glitter

I love my mirror.
Why?
Well, it makes my 5'1 and 3/4" body look much taller
and much skinnier than it actually is!

I've never once worn this sequined shirt...
Where do you wear it?
What do you wear it with?
And how do you get past the pain the sequins near the armpits cause!?

Sequined Shirt: Wet Seal circa 2009
Leggings: Target
Shoes: Payless - Stolen from Mom the last time I was home
Hair: fresh out of bed bedhead.

All Dressed Up: Back to School?

I never dressed like this when I was in college. But yesterday I started looking into Masters programs...and I can assure you, this is how I plan to dress when I go to class. Even if it's just online classes.

Shirt and Sweater: Forever 21
Jeans: Kohls (I think? They are old!)
Boots: Bakers (and I wear them with everything!)

All Dressed Up: Snow Bunny

A little snow won't stop me from dressing up! Even if it's just to take pictures. It was way too cold to be doing this...but hey, looking pretty comes with it's share of risks! So, without further ado, this is my version of a snow bunny!

All Dressed Up: Lumberjack

When I first moved to Chapel Hill in June of 2009 I was so excited. Everyone wore dresses...every single day. I was finally getting use out of my many many many dresses! It was amazing! But then...nine months later I moved to Jacksonville. No-one-dresses-up. EVER. I'm appalled every single time I go to Walmart. What possess people to wear pajamas in public? More importantly...why would someone go into Walmart looking like this??

Whenever we leave the house I always say "I'm too dressed up." But thank goodness...Danny likes to dress up too..so I'm never alone! Even when we went to the winery for New Years....we were the most dressed up people there (not to mention the youngest by atleast 30 years)

So, when Lady blogged about being All Dressed Up once a week. I was ecstatic! Yesterday I pulled on a pair of tights, a dress and boots...and cleaned the house, made dinner, and played fetch with the dog. If I had worn pearls I would have made Danny call me Mrs. Cleaver.

I didn't want to ruin my super dressy clothes while I cleaned (and heck, no one would see it..so why dirty it?) so, I stuck with a simple dress this week. And something you see very often in Jacksonville. Plaid. If I were a lumberjack I would wear this everyday.

All clothes from Forever 21. Boots from Bakers.
