I was very excited when my friend from elementary school came to me with this idea. Today's sponsor is not a store....she's not even selling anything. Candice is looking to raise money for a cause that is very important to her: GREAT STRIDES (Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fundraising event.) She will be walking for the cause on May 21, 2011...and is asking that you donate to this wonderful cause!
Three years ago Candice met a beautiful, smart and amazing little girl, Isabelle. This is what she says about Isabelle and CF....
I have been inspired by her, yes at the age of three she inspires me to want to do great things and be a better person for her! Her parents are wonderful people, and the three of them are now family. I guess it is hard to realize the need for research, treatment and a cure for something until you've associated a face with it, for me I have associated a lot more than a face, it's my family, and I don't give up on family!
