Prizes from OWOH

Ok - I know I'm incredibly late in putting up pictures of my One World One Heart prizes, but hey, better late than never right???

I actually won three prizes. But the third is something we are still collaborating on so I don't have any pictures of it to show off yet :)

I won this cute little blouse from Celia. You can find her blog here. I'm giving it to my niece...now I need to get it to her before she's to big for it!

I won the Kraft-i Roller from Jenn of Just Jenn Designs - and they are really affordable if your interested in buying one yourself! This is a tool for making paper beads, and I'm really excited to play with it! She even e-mailed me a free pdf with instructions on what to do. Isn't that sweet?

It might be a bit before I actually get around to making my own beads - you know me and procrastination - but I'll blog about it when I do!

One World, One Heart - The Official Giveaway!

I blogged not too long ago saying I was going to be part of One World One Heart again...and then I missed the opening day! Ack! I was sick - that's my excuse >_> But it's here! We're taking a magic carpet ride! What does that mean?

Well for me that means giving away lots of prizes! I envision this magic carpet flying all over the world, and the more places it fly's, the more chances there are to win! I love make earrings, and so that's what my giveaway is going to be. Here's just a sample:

Update on OWOH :) (and life in general)

I'm participating in the One World One Heart Giveaway for the first time this year - and I'm having a blast! As of writing this post I've had 174 entries in my giveaway, and that's mind blowing! That's the fun stuff :) The not so fun stuff is that I'm continuing to battle migraine issues. I saw a nice doctor lady yesterday and she gave me a med that does help - but I can't take it more than 3 times a month because it'll interact with other meds and all that sort of fun stuff. So while yesterday was a blissfully pain-free day because I did take one, today is back to my brain melting because I'm trying to only take the med if I absolutely have to. *sigh* Good news is their referring me to neurology :D Apparently there are daily meds I could take, but since my medical history is so freaking complex they'd rather have a specialist prescribe that. Which is fine with me because I'd like a better educated guess as to what's going on...but I also want the pain gone! So now it's back to the old "waiting for the insurance to approve it" game...

In the mean time I'm managing to get an amazing amount of stuff done in and around my brain melting! I have some new items I'm really excited about unveiling this weekend in the shop :D Now here's hoping that my brain re-forms long enough for me to get the pictures!

Mint Green Book Mark

Feels like I've been going a million miles a minute the last week or so! It's been interesting trying to keep up with it all... Which means I'm so tired that getting good posts written is hard! But I want to write you, so here I am :)

Why am I so tired and busy? Well, the new reason I'm tired is that I just started using a CPAP machine to deal with my Sleep Apnea. I blogged about that on my other blog.

I'm also getting ready to put my stuff out in a consignment store! So I've been weaving and creating like MAD for the last two weeks! I'll try to take a bunch of pictures Friday morning before it all goes into the shop. :) AFTER that I should have a wee bit more time to focus on this blog again :) I'll return to my selling venue series at that point!

What else is keeping me busy? Well, I'm trying to be a good girl and get things up in the shop I share with my Mom - like that beautiful book mark up at the top! I got some more photos today so I should be listing more things in the next few days. :)

I have new things to list in my own etsy shop, but lately I've just been renewing items, because a lot of them are about to expire! It's fun to revisit some of the items I created awhile ago - and still love! Like these earrings :)
