The Past Few Days!

We have been so busy since Thursday..and I'm loving it!

Thursday night we had an awesome dinner at The Chelsea with Carmen and Mike and their friends Rachel and Andrew. We had lots of food, lots of beer...and even more laughs. I learned a few Scottish slang terms, like "slag."

Friday was a busy day. First, Miley made a new friend. A frog. After I posted some pictures of this on Facebook I found out that frogs are actually really harmful to dogs! So, now I'm praying the frog doesn't come back!

When Danny came home from work, we made dinner and then started with our busy plans. Lots of packages to mail (I'm addicted to swap.com,) got my awesome haircut at Fantastic Sams (love a cheap haircut!) And trying to find the beach on Lejeune. Seriously, we don't ever go on base so we have no idea where anything is. That place is massive. We almost ran out of gas trying to find the beach! We ended the night with a trip to Starbucks, it was the perfect night for a hot pumpkin spice latte!

We woke up at 5:30 on Saturday. So early, but so worth it. We headed to the beach to meet up with the photographer to do my Trash the Dress shoot! Remember Thursday when I said I was waiting for a package? I was waiting for my wedding dress so I could get my pictures done! I got pictures taken as the sun came up on the beach, took some pictures in a field, in the road, and of course...in the water. I can not wait to see them! I think I brought half the beach back with me, my dress is filthy!

The rest of the day was really lazy. We decided we wanted a lazy night and some pizza to go along with it. We had a bad experience with Dominos a few months ago, so they sent us coupons for a free pizza. We called, told them about the coupon and we were accused of lying about where we got the coupon and since we "got it on base" we can not use it. Sorry Mr. Dominos, but your company actually sent me those coupons because of bad customer service, thanks for improving it.... Believe me, Dominos got a lovely little e-mail from me.

Today has been great! My Mom and Nana flew down from Boston for the week! I am so excited that they are here! Miley is loving all of the extra attention. We mostly hung around the house chatting, then we went to Target for some shopping, and then we headed to dinner. It was great spending time with them! I have so so so much planned for this week!
