Thursday Five

Happy Thursday!

The week is flying by and I love it!

And it's a good thing too...this weekend is going to be awesome!

But in the meantime, these are the five things that have made me

1. How absolutely amazing was it to see the 33 miners and their rescuers come to the surface yesterday? I would be lying if I told you I didn't cry.

2. I am so thankful for my parents. We had so much fun while they were here! I can't even count how many times Danny has said "they should just move down here!"

3. I have a new toy. A PROheat carpet cleaner. Miley got a little sick one morning so it was desperately needed. Not only was it on sale but it came with a $20 Target gift card! Oh, and my carpets are looking mighty good!

4. Today is day three of the Love Dare. Day 1: Patience. Something I was not born with...but I managed to keep my cool while Danny set up the carpet cleaner. Day 2: Kindness. This one was hard, but I ended up putting Danny's clean clothes away. Usually I just do the laundry but I actually put away yesterdays clothes and clothes that have been piling up. It was small, but it felt good to help. I haven't read today's dare, but I'm oddly excited about it already! (Sidenote: We decided we are going to start going to church. When I mentioned it to Danny he said "do you think something is wrong with our marriage?" Um, NO! I just thought it was a nice idea!)

5. Miley has been such a good girl this past week! Even Mom noticed a difference. She isn't barking uncontrollably. We've been going for a three mile walk everyday, so that totally exhausts her. I am loving my good dog!
